The uncertainty of what you are about to ingest—and how it might affect your physical and mental state—adds to the tension. Every pill influences your resistance levels, so it's crucial to manage them carefully; reaching zero resistance results in death. Between rounds, you’ll have the opportunity to select from an assortment of experimental treatments and items that could turn the tide in your favor, including vaccines and mouth clamps. Your opponent is also determined to outlive you, employing deception and adaptability, using every tactic they can to survive just one dose longer than you.
